Liang Qiwei’s Long Post: ‘Shadow Blade Zero’ Enters Final Sprint — All Human-Crafted, No AI Used

[GamePea Exclusive, Reproduction Prohibited!] GamePea Reports — After months of silence, the highly anticipated Chinese AAA single-player title 'Shadow Blade Zero' has finally delivered exciting news. On April 10, game producer Liang Qiwei (Soulframe) published a lengthy post on social media, officially announcing that the overall development of the game has smoothly entered its final phase. With just five months left until the global release date of September 9, 2026, announced at TGA 2025, the team behind countless stunning gameplay demos has finally lifted the veil on their prolonged 'seclusion.'

Since the detailed reveal trailer on September 9 last year, developer Lingyoufang seemed to intentionally lower its promotional volume. Apart from the release date confirmation at the TGA awards, the studio rarely discussed specific development progress publicly. This near 'radio silence' added an air of mystery to the game but also left eager fans feeling a bit anxious. Fortunately, with this latest post, the collective tension has eased somewhat.

Liang Qiwei candidly revealed that the team is now leveraging all available resources for a final sprint: they have proactively cut non-core content to focus development resources on deep polishing of key modules such as narrative text, character models, action performance, combat, and progression systems. Simultaneously, extensive localization, device compatibility testing, and performance optimization are underway. In Liang's words, an original wuxia world filled with clashing blades and surreal elements is gradually taking shape.

GamePea notes that some of Liang Qiwei's promises in the post strike at the most sensitive nerves of the current gaming industry.
